Alassad's Sectarian Game in Syria

An endless attempts of the Syrian regime to prove its inhumanity has recently introduced an new massacre in Qubier near Hama. The regime ridiculously insists that an anonymous party, misleadingly called a terrorists group, is responsible for the whole mass killings and crimes that Syria has been undergoing, but everyone has a little idea of the current Syrian regime's dark history knows that there are no alleged terrorists except Alassad and his regime.  Needless to say that the number of killed, injured, and people who fled the country has been escalating since the beginning of the uprising in early 2011due to the relentless military operations directed to suppress the peaceful protests. This turned out to trigger a wide peaceful opposition of the continuity of Alassad, which got no response but bullets paving the way to military defections and forming a martial force of rebels.

Speaking more recently, Alassad's regime is responsible of the cold-blooded massacres recently occurred in Qubier and Houla, where hundreds of civilians, especially children, died. It seems that this merciless regime has no intentions to lead the country to any state of stability without being on the top of the government.

With this in mind, it is known that Alassad family came to power through Hafez Alassad's insidious plans to occupy all the high positions in the Syrian armed forces by appointing his Alawite minority in the influential positions, shifting Syria to a monarchy that is rule by only Alassad family and claimed to be a republic. Not only he formed a new dictatorship era, but he also ruled the country with an iron fist that made the people of Syria poor, isolated, and in the middle of unneeded regional conflicts and animosities with neighboring countries, abandoning the historical role of Syria. Essentially, he was setting the foundations for his family dictatorship. Since his cult is a spin-off from Shiite, he even helped Iran in initiating the suspicious armed Lebanon militia named by Hezbollah, which the reason for their participating logistically and the current crisis in favor of Alassad's regime. Alassad and Hezbolah, directed by Iran, believe that a future Shiite nation should have Syria in it even though the majority of Syrians never though of this, and any collapse could hurt these imperial dreams of Iran, which explains the unlimited Iranian boosting for Alassad.

Alassad is wreaking havoc in his country just to stay in power! I wonder how Alassad's regime justifies the legitimacy of their state while the country is boiling and people continuously gathers in anti-government protests, acting indifferent to the mass killing by the regime. Under the macabre series of massacres and killing civilians, I do not wonder of the increasing soldier defections, or the forming of what is known by Free Army.

An explanation for what is happening is that Alassad is inciting his Alawite minority to trigger a sectarian war, forming militia supported by mercenaries, Shabiha, to attack civilians under a blind eye of the army. This results in gruesome killings and terror believed to be helpful to shut the people of Syria up. It is falsely thought to be a deserved punishment for people of Syria for their rising and protest. This way the regime could say that it is not responsible of certain massacre or tanks invasion, but the fact is that its Shabiha are the right hand and involved in many killing besides the army and security forces. Another way to look at it, when the regime claims innocence from something and anonymous terrorists are addressed, that, in fact, means Shabiha. It is awful how the regime pushes the people from different sects in Syria to fight over nothing but a longer period for Alassad's regime and, of course, more bloods and massacres where a chance of freedom and human rights in looming. Regrettably, Alawites are being victimized by calling their support for Alassad and work as Shabihas.

What most hurts is that the victims are mostly civilians and children killed for no reason but demanding a new humane regime. They neither have weapon nor enough food and gas. Their only fault is not succumbing to the hypocritical reforms and claims of pursuing a settlement with the opposition by the regime, meant to soothe the world community and the increasing condemnations. In fact, people have lived enough to know what is Alassad family is capable of. Such a cruel regime have done a hell of terrorism, sectarianism, kidnapping, torturing in the past, and would fight for power no matter how many people were killed, needless to say how humane their response to the people demands.
